****ONE BY ONE****

We all it seems
Have days like this
That are not heaven sent,
When all our strength
Get-up and go,
Just "got up" and went.

The chores seem never ending
Complaints are all around
We wring our hands
And shake our heads,
No time is to be found.

Now if we stop
And think of it
We must begin somewhere
Just put the jobs in tiny squares,
Accomplishment is there.

Set the dishes in to soak
A load of laundry spinning
The kids a snack
The garbage sacked,
Already we are winning.

The chores which were a mountain
Have started to recede
With each job done,
Out peeks the sun,
And now we pick up speed.

Sweep the floor
And wipe the door
Start watering the plants
Soon the mountain is cut down,
With nothing left to chance.

For in each tiny square of work
Or some deed that we do
Remember that behind you, left
A tiny part of you.

As you look around you
And see what you have done
A smile will flit across your lips,
You see? By Gosh! You've won!!

Everyone needs a bit of encouragement now and again. Send this off to all of your friends, and just see all of the "Thanks" you get!!
