Best RPer you ever saw on AIM: even though i've never had the honor (or the courage) to speak to the man, it would have to be Sephiroth Enigma, because he's got a point in saying that he's the only one who does his character justice, if the logs on this and other pages are any evidence to go by.
Life goals, be it morbid or: eh, i hesitate to say the same "i just want to be happy." but that's pretty much it. that and to actually have an RP with someone, so i can actually determine how much work i've got to do to get better!

When I first returned to AIM, I was hesitant to actually reveal myself. Doing so would require me to stay and I was still unsure if that is what I wanted to do. But it was your page, Mary, and some of the logs that lay within it's bowels that made me tr ly want to return. Everyone says it, because it's true. Things are changing on AIM. It's drastic, and perhaps for some, a little frightening. I knew returning would only serve to add another variable to this already boiling equation, perhaps even bein the catalyst itself. But when I read those logs, memories came back to me. Memories of how much fun it had been, of how I was enjoying doing something that, for once, I was good at. Here is a place for the creative minded to open up and let those minds soar. Here is the chance to live one of those dreams you've always had, to save the damsel, to find the perfect guy, to get the bad guy, to be the bad guy. It's all possible here. It's a refuge from reality. At least, that's what it's supposed to be. AIM is changing because people are not allowing themselves to have fun. They stay too bogged down in the land of the mun bubbles, that they don't care about their character and portraying THEM. People no longer come here to play the game, and to escapse and have fun. They come here for the social aspects of mun-ville. The only reason people make new sns is so that they can join a family with their friends or something. Soon everyone has numerous charries, and so few actually have DEPTH. This is no lo ger a place for people to come together and have their charries interact, it's a place for the muns to interact with each other while occassionaly toying with their charrie as if it's a toy doll. Get back into the characters, give them depth, give them a life, and it will be fun once more. There are many times when I am just as frustrated about it as everyone else, and I just want to scream and give it all up because it's so gay, but I can't ever do that. Not for good. I love it too much. It's just a atter of us finding what it was about this place that we loved, what changed from that original idea, and how can we get back to it? There's my two cents on it all. It's your site Mary that helped me to see how much RPing on AIM truly meant to me and th t it IS worth it. ::goes off to read the Lake once more::
