Tiph Nightshade: ::Tiphy was seated in her usual spot, sideways atop a certain section of the bar counter, legs crossed at just below the knee, tiny feet encased in the seemingly ever present sable armored boots, set on a slight platform. The whole of her looked to be *normal* as far as outward appearances went, which was to say naught of her initial impression to anyone unaccustomed to looking at her. The suit, same as always, well polished material of an indeterminable substance, no doubt alien in it's origins, accentuated by the occasional leather strap, or silver band, or white shoulder plate. A few patches of skin here and there were left open to the winter air, though that bothered her much less when she was inside, secluded in the cozy quiet atmosphere of her presently abandoned tavern. It had been busy and bustling all too often as of late, and she was taking a little break from it all, and soaking up the refreshing moment of peace. Sapphire shaded eyes flit haphazardly over the upturned chairs, and small uniform tables evenly spaced about. A fair number of hanging lamps, half of which were lit, gave off just enough light for her to be almost left in the dark. She leaned back a ways, canting her head upwards to the skylight, which was blanketed in snow, and then shoved herself into a roughly normal seated position, her eyes drifting to fall out of focus at just about her delicate knees::

Lu Watchman: ::That annoying creaking sound could be heard throughout the Tavern of Tiphareth, signifying that someone had now entered. This someone, being the wondrous King Lu Watchman, was in search of his favorite sister, Tiphareth Nightshade. He casually entered the tavern, stepping forward slightly as the *thud* of the door slamming behind him could be heard. Lu, was dressed in his usual attire when he looked to be comfortable, wearing those black, baggy cargo pants, a black motley crue t-shirt that had the words "Kick start My heart" printed in blood red across the chest in big, bold lettering. His feet were covered in those hard, leather boots, which made a nice, heavy thudding sound with each step into the room. His long, flowing violet hair was tied back into a pony tail, keeping those loose strands from covering his eyes. Upon reaching the center of the room, he turned his head a few times, and stopped as he laid eyes on his oh, so beautiful sister, Tiph Nightshade...:: My Tiphy....::He said in a low whisper, as he slowly began to walk his way over to her, a huge smile on his face the entire time...:: It's been so long..

Tiph Nightshade: ::She'd mentally wandered off into her own private world of day dreams, and just then the sight of her gave the intense impression that she was in complete acceptance of the solitude. Her face was stern, in a serious expression, as if the soldier pondered over a battle plan or her next mission set. It tended to come and go.. the soldier air she occasionally exuded. This day it was a little more thickly laid than usual. The unfocused twins were cold, dangerous, and they'd slowed in their radiation of Mako to the point of thinly veiled drippings, the faint glow almost too limited in it's amount to be seen. But even as she looked to be so distanced, she picked up the hints of someone approaching well before the door opened or her sensitive ears registered the sounds of their footsteps. She was jolted back into an attentive, nearly guarded state, her lifeless eyes now anything but, flaring up and brightly burning, the pale features of her face highlighted and suddenly full of life. They calmed slowly until they looked to be banked azure coals, and she finally relaxed, a small smile pulling it's way across her face, erasing the stony, all too solemn expression that had been there up until the moment she saw Lu:: No shit.. ::She smirked so faintly, and wrapped her arms around her upturned knees, still perched comfortably on the bar top::

Lu Watchman: ::With an almost unremovable smile on his face, it was slightly hard for him to speak, but he leaned down, taking her hand in his, he pressed a small kiss to the top of it before he found a seat near her and flopped down into it...:: It's been way too long....how are you feeling dear? You don't look all too happy...::He spoke with a concerned voice, his pale violet eyes locked up with hers, focusing on them solely...:: I'm glad to see you today Tiph, things have been awfully bad as of late with the family, the kind of bad that makes me wish I wasn't there anymore...but enough about me for now, what's wrong with you? ::he reached up and behind his head, pulling the rubber band that kept his hair locked back in that ponytail, letting his hair fall loosely down to his shoulders..:: ahh...much better

Tiph Nightshade: ::A slender, curious chestnut brow arched it's way up, and she cocked her head to the left a bit, similarly shaded warm tresses spilling silken and smooth over the respective shoulder with the movement, as if it was a velvety curtain rather than the gently tangled strands of her thick hair.:: Wrong with me? Maybe nothing.. I'm not rightly sure.. ::Her eyes clouded for a fleeting moment, and then went back to appearing normal... well as normal as glowing alien twins can be.:: I guess I'm not really myself lately.. maybe I'm slipping back into being a heartless sarcastic bitch or something.. I don't know. ::She laughed a bit, making light of whatever she was hinting at, and dismissed it with a casual wave of her tattoo marred hand.:: I like it when the bar's this quiet.. and I can think for a bit. I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but the way things work in here, if you want anything, just think it bro, and it's yours. I didn't really want to bother myself to hire all kinds of underpaid bar skanks...

Lu Watchman: But...::He let a little smirk play over those thin, pallid lips of his for a moment...:: The underpaid bar skanks are the best part of any bar...::he looked down to the table he was sitting at and simply thought of the drink that Darrian had got Lu hooked on, that always harsh, Black Velvet, and just as Tiph said, there appeared a glass of this wondrous drink right before him..:: Wow...that's amazing. I need a bar like this at my palace. ::He smiled a slight bit and took the glass in his right hand, while looking down at his hand, he noticed the tattoo he had gotten not too long ago, a rose, the same color as his eyes and hair, being entwined in the lettering of Dauthi's name. With a saddened sigh, he just lifted the glass to his lips and took a small sip ..:: What do you mean slipping back to being a heartless sarcastic bitch? Are you serious or joking? Forgive me if you are joking, but my mind is really weighed down lately, trying to figure out what to do...

Tiph Nightshade: ::At the thought, she fairly ached for a bit of vodka, and thought one up, a small shot appearing instantly on the counter next to her, with a small strawberry floating in the clear liquid at the top. She picked it up delicately between finger and thumb, and nibbled on the tip of it, perfectly white teeth nipping off a small portion of the juicy red berry.:: Figure out what to do about what? ::She quirked the brow again, and cast an inquisitive eye over him, noting the sorrow tinged sigh as his gaze passed over the Dauthi tattoo:: And I was serious.. but I'm not sure how serious, just yet.. ::She shut up then, much more interested in learning what was bothering her brother than she was about delving into her own little problems, which seemed so scant and insignificant when she compared them to anyone else's.. for whatever reason:: What's going on? ::She gently prodded::

Lu Watchman: What to do with the matters at hand...trying to figure out if I still love Dauthi... or if I am just attached to her, being around as long as she has. It's really fucked up that I don't know Tiph, but that thought has crossed my mind quite a few times as of late.... and I don't think she loves me, and if she does... why does she go against my word so persistently... she battled that man when she was pregnant with my baby... and I specifically told her not to do so. She did, and got hurt, and my little girl was nearly killed... just because of her foolish, immature actions... ::He closed his eyes, a small growl emitting from the depths of his throat as he continued to think over this matter. Lu gently set the glass down after taking one more sip of his black velvet, and gently trailed his fingertips over that tattoo, being at a loss for anymore words on this matter..:: Now talk to me about your problem..? I'd like to know... if it's all right with you..

Tiph Nightshade: ::She blinked once, a bit surprised to hear this, but her face betrayed no signs of her mild astonishment whatsoever, endlessly calm and relatively non expressive. She thought back to a week or two earlier, when she'd sat in the same tavern opposite the topic of conversation, and pondered on how Dauthi had hinted at missing him so..:: I'm pretty sure she loves you Lu.. but you're more deeply involved in this than I am so maybe it isn't my place to judge. ::There she paused and took another bite of the strawberry, chewing it slowly until it had become little more than a pulp of flavorless nothing in her mouth. She took a quick sip of her vodka and began to speak again, in the same eerily poised and controlled tone she'd always had:: As for what's going on with me.. I wouldn't even know where to begin.. that's the thing.. but you remember what I said to you before, about the other form? It has something to do with that. And Darrian.. but it's so complicated ::She sighed a bit::

Lu Watchman: She openly defied my word... and disrespected my crown. She disrespected the Kingdom... and she could've caused the very kingdom to fall and lay in nothing but waste if she were to have died. That angers me to no ends Tiphareth... ::He said nothing more of that matter for the time being, and slowly brought that glass to his lips, taking yet another sip of the contents, swishing it about in his mouth before he swallowed it down...:: She supposedly loves me Tiph... but she did that with so much ease... my baby could've died... have you seen her sis? She's so tiny... due to the fact of being born prematurely. I could've killed Dauthi for that... it's just not right to do something like that to children. You know as well as I do, I hate children, but those two at the palace are my babies. Little Lu is the apple of my eye, I love him so, and Cheyenne, she's just perfect... so sweet... and calm. She deserved so much more than the shitty treatment she got from her mother inside of that womb, she wasn't cared for properly... ::He growled yet again, almost baring his teeth as he thought of that, it was definitely something he was touchy about, more so than any other thing in this world..:: The other form and Darrian eh? He's treating you right isn't he Tiph? He had better be.... or I'll kill him.... but never mind that dear.. if you'd rather not talk about it, I understand...

Tiph Nightshade: ::She nodded some:: I was there when Chey was born.. sort of.. ::She winced a bit:: Remember that sudden exit I had to make?.. It was because the Jenova form was coming on, and soon, and I couldn't waste a second in getting out of there. I hope you understand. I couldn't let Dar see that.. I'd rather die. And he still doesn't know that's why I left.. I want to tell him but I.. ::She trailed off and sighed again. Taking the remains of the strawberry out of her glass, she threw the shot back, gulping it all down at once:: Do you ever get the feeling that everything that's been important to you is crumbling to pieces on every side, and all you can do is sit there anguishing and watch? It's like I'll go mad if something doesn't drastically change, and soon. He can calm me down so easily.. but it seems like I never see him anymore. I haven't laid eyes on him since that day when he delivered Chey and I morphed.. his job keeps him so busy.

Lu Watchman: ::He shook his head slightly and then shrugged:: That boy needs to realize what is more important. His family life or his job. He's got more than enough money to support you all for the rest of your lives, and even if he just did it for the love of killing, why not take some time off of it, and be with you and Damian? I mean, I hardly feel that it is my place to talk about not being at home, but then again, it's quite different with me. I am a king, and I have certain relations that I must keep intact for the good of my Kingdom. I don't want to belittle his name in your presence Tiph, he's a brother to me, and I love him very much, I just wish he'd get his priorities in line. ::He finished off that glass of Black velvet with a single gulp, which filled over half of the glass. He then gave that thought signal for a refill, and it did so, filling his cup all the way to the top once more. Taking a small sip of it, he set that glass back down on the top of the oak table he was sitting at...:: Well dear, I do apologize for the troubles that you go through, and if it means anything to you Tiph, you can come with me on my trip and attend some of the meetings I have to go to, maybe you won't be so lonely... that's only if you want to though

Tiph Nightshade: When I started to tell him about the other form, he was so upset.. I've never seen him so distraught.. bewildered and afraid.. it's like he was a completely different person. I felt so awful for keeping it from him for so long. It was wracking my nerves just as bad as when we were engaged and I had to tell him I couldn't give him any children.. but that he took very well. This shit though.. ::The careless soldier facade instantly crumbled, and a lone glowing tear spilled and stained her cheek light blue as it snaked it's way down from her eye. She didn't anger herself over it either, just simply let it be. How many people got to see this so carefully guarded side of her? She could count them on one hand:: I don't want to have any secrets to keep from him. None. ::She fell out of her self indulgence for a minute and looked up at him with still teary eyes:: I don't think his priorities are misplaced necessarily, he works so hard because he wants us to have everything.. And it's not like I've never been lonely in my life before, besides, I have Damian to keep me busy. Maybe a little vacation would do me some good though. ::She wiped the beginnings of another tear away and sniffled:: Where are you off to?

Lu Watchman: Tiph, regardless of the fact that he wants you all to have everything, please remember this... ::His pale violet twins looked up to meet her mako filled orbs..:: What good will having everything do, if you're not together to share it? But nevertheless, I respect you, and I won't speak anything ill of Darrian, not in your presence, not in anyone's. ::He snaked his fingers around the base of the glass and brought it up to his lips, taking a drink of it...:: As for your form dear, it's a part of you. You're going to have to tell him, and let him be there with you during the entire duration of it. Darrian married you for you, not because you were this godly gorgeous babe, but because of who you are. He's got to learn to accept it, and you've got to explain what it means exactly to him. You can't just run and hide every time it happens, what if you are in the middle of something important, and you just got up and ran? It may be scary, but remember this in all things, he does love you, more than anything in this world, just like I do, and he will stick with you through it all.

Tiph Nightshade: I don't want him to have to see.. because that's not me. He knows about it somewhat because I've begun to tell him, but he doesn't know every gory detail yet, or how it looks when I'm.. ::She closed her eyes and shuddered:: When I'm like that, nothing is the same. I'm not even the same person.. I'm not a person at all, not even in the slightest bit. A completely different being. I don't know what she would do to him.. she has no ties to my baby whatsoever and I'd die if he got hurt.. So I have to hide, you see? It's similar to Jacen and that Jinn.. only I can never be rid of my demon because she's a part of me.

Lu Watchman: I do understand that, and I apologize for the sorrow you must endure in life Tiphareth, Lord knows if anyone deserves it, you don't. ::He sighed a little and then turned the glass up, drinking every last drop of that Black Velvet, and then thought of something a bit more harsh, and suddenly, a nice glass of Southern Comfort appeared before him. Lu was definitely looking to get thrashed tonight, but it didn't seem to be happening...:: Would you like me to be around the next time that part of you comes out? I could tell you what it's like, and maybe make a little form of contact with it if you like. ::He shrugged slightly and then downed half of that glass of bourbon that sat before him..::

Tiph Nightshade: I dunno what she would do to you either.. the only person she will tolerate as far as we've learned is Sephiroth and that's only because he's Jenova. He's been with me every time so far. Which is only once every two years, just about. And I can't really foresee him explaining anything to Dar.. Darrian wants to see him die, not explain the atrocities of my other self.. I seriously doubt they'll ever have anything approaching calm words for each other. ::She smiled tiredly, picking up on his intentions with the increasingly harsher drinks, and sympathizing whole heartedly with his inability to get himself loused.::

Sephiroth Enigma: ::Sephiroth had taken it upon himself to pay his partner another unannounced and unexpected visit, as was his custom regarding such things. It had been by far too long since they'd last spoken, and in his own complicated way, he'd missed her. So seeking her out now was just what was going to be done. Previously, he'd been sitting lost in troubled thoughts, alone in the chill environment of their shared Obelisk. As soon as the notion had crossed him, he telepathically acquired her where abouts, and tore a neat rift in the time stream, and teleported himself to just inside the door of her tavern. Immediately he noticed another person present, and narrowed his eyes almost imperceptibly.. he hated having to share his Tiphareth. Crossing his arms over his chest slowly, an amused little smirk pulled it's way over his features and that endlessly careless voice, undeniably smooth and cold now, stole up from his throat. The deep mocking tone perfectly complimented the void of expression other than for that smirk:: Tiphareth, I wasn't aware you still suffered the company of this one.. ::His mind raced back to so long ago, when he'd handed Lu the crushed fragments of her ring, with directions to make sure they found their way to Darrian. A sadistic smile took over the smirk for a moment, as he imagined the pain that must have caused her husband. He didn't even bother looking at Lu after the first glance and glower, not that that was much of a shock..::

Lu Watchman: ::Slightly startled by the entrance of Sephiroth, it was clear that the liquor was beginning to take its toll on Lu, seeing as he was shaken so easily. He set his glass down, almost instantaneously reaching for his katana. The last time this man had been around, he killed Tiph, Lu wasn't about to allow this to happen once more. He staggered into a readied stance, and even though he was in no condition to fight, he couldn't just let anything bad happen, not without at least "trying" to stop him...:: What.... the fuck... do you want? ::His voice wasn't normal at all, in fact, it was more of a growl than anything else. His eyes were flaring a wicked neon green, beaming so bright they lit up the room completely, obliterating all shadows. His huge hands were both wrapped around the hilt of that katana, knuckles were white from the incredibly tight hold on it...::

On to part two
