The Street gets a face lift |
The Sesamstraat set gets a toy look April 29 2004 Hilversum (ANP) A few people who are involved with the changing apperance of the street choosed for an other set. Director Nobert Hall and actor Aart Staartjes wanted the early idea from Erly Brugmans (1965). He came up with the idea about making a street that looked like it were toys. Siens shop and Pinos nest will make place for a little street that looks like a child builded it with large blocks. 2th director Aje Boschhuizen: "With this street we're getting into the real world of kids. The set will be more abstract and it looks more like a playground. It's like they play in the street, that they made with blocks and bricks from their toybox".... |
NDR Fernsehen starts a new season june 27 Sesamstrasse started 52 new episodes. The German childeren also meet two new friends this year. The happy and dancing Anke and the computer-handy- autofreak Mehmet ( Nilsī friend). Also there will be some guests appearance on the show, namely: Katharina Bohm, Ben Becker and Armin Rohde. They all contribute their salary to UNICEF! |
Sesamstraat toys are back! august 20 I canīt remember the last time I saw a pluche toy from our Dutch version of Sesame Street. But I tell you this.... they are back in stores now! Normaly I donīt write about merchendise, but because these items are rare to find in Holland, Iīll make an exepsion. They are for sale at Intertoys and Fisher-Price made them together with Bert, Ernie, Cookie and Elmo. They are also available in Germany. If they are gona make Tommie and Purk aswell, I donīt know, but these plushes are totaly cool! |
Sesamstraat goes to the stores! march 20 Something is going on in the Netherlands... It seems the producers and people that are responsible for Sesamstraat are going to find a way to make it more popular for the Dutch audience. One way is to bring more products on the market. Not only for kids, but for students and growing ups too! Allready there are clothing and games, but will there be toys and stuff from the typical Dutch characters too? We can only wait... |
The show is for kids ffrom 2-82 years of age and will be seen from december 20th 2005 until january 8th 2006 in several theathers in the Netherlands. "Everyone makes music" is spoken in Dutch with the original Dutch voices. Bert, Ernie, Coockie, Elmo, Grover and many more who live at the street will be waiting for their new music teacher. Sadly the truck with the instruments never arrives at Sesamstraat. So they have to learn to make music without them. Who will fill the role of the teacher is yet unknow. "Everyone makes music" is a interactive show where young as old get the oppertunity to meet the people from the street and to make a real party with them! TOURSCHEDULE The show "Everyone makes music" will be shown: in december 21th until december 26th 2005 at `Het Luxor Theaterī in Rotterdam, in december 27th until december 30th 2005 at `Het Chasse Theaterī in Breda, in january 1st until januari 4th 2006 at `Het Martiniplaza Theaterī in Groningen and in januari 6th until januari 8th 2006 at `De Heineken Music Hallī in Amsterdam To read this in Dutch just click here! |
Sesamstraat celebrates 30th birthday! june 2 Because of 30 years on television in the Netherlands, Joop van den Ende Theathershows presents a new show; "Everyone makes music". The habitants from the street will come specially to the Netherlands for this jubileumparty. |
