MY FAIRY TEA GARDEN

The kettle is on, and soon a hot cup of tea will drive winter's chill from our bodies even as it gently chases stressful thoughts from our minds. Come sit a spell and have some tea with me. Relax, unwind and allow your mind to visit the land of fantasy.

Start with fresh, cold water, preferably bottled or spring water. Bring water to a full boil for your black teas, but just to the steaming point for green. Let bags or tea ball steep for a few minutes.
Hey, I just thought of something, now we know why people have always used the term  BREWING tea. Witches brew, perhaps.
MY SWEET DREAM TEA
Combine Valerian, Chamomile flowers, and lemon grass and put in a tea ball. Steep covered for a few minutes. You can find herbs at the health food store or grow your own. If all else fails, purchase Sleepy Time bags at your supermarket.
Every evening, after you have settled into bed, talk to your ancestors, guardian spirits, and animal totems. Ask them to reveal themselves to you in your dreams. Say to yourself " Tonight I remember my dreams."
Then go to sleep and dream. Do this each night just before falling asleep. Eventually your dream spirits will come.
HERB DREAM PILLOW
Take two equal size pieces of soft fabric, large enough for a pillow.  Sew together, leaving one end open. Take cheese cloth and combine herbs and lavender and tie it up to make a bag. Stuff into pillow along with some soft batting. Either sew closed or you can add zipper to make it easier to restuff.
Use:
1 cup rose petals
1 cup lemon verbena
1/2 cup lavender flowers
2-3 tablespoons mugwort
1 teaspoon orris root powder
Mix all, tie up in cheese cloth and stuff your dream pillow.
