| This page is dedicated to the memory of Virginia"Jo" Womble who passed into the Summerland on May 2, 2000. She was my Aunt, who adopted me after my Mom passed away when I was 14. A beautiful, strong, courageous, giving, and extra- ordinary woman. A perfect example of love and trust. When I first became involved in the Wiccan way I was so afraid of what she may think, I finally came out of the broom closet at a family get together and someone said " That is witchcraft and they practice it naked, they are a bunch of tree huggers! I had been unhappy for a long time before then and she had been worried about me. She had noticed a positive change but did not know why. Her reply was" I DO NOT CARE IF SHE RUNS AROUND NAKED AND HUGS EVERY TREE IN FLORIDA, as long as she is happy. She encouraged me to reach for my star and do what I really wanted. With unconditional love and support. She spent a major part of her life watching over me and still does. First my Aunt, Then my Mother, and Always my Best Friend! I was so blessed to have her in my life. |
