In 1932 Funakoshi Sensei establihed the five main principle that we know today as a Dojo Kun. Over time the clear adherence to this guiding principles began to distinguish shotokan students and practitioners as true martial artist, and to established karate-do as a way of life, equal to that of many other longer established Japanese dicipiline. Senior most karateka student (Sempai) should lead their Juniors (Cohai) in a recitation of the Dojo Kun, following each training period. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
