Summary

Logan is walking towards the sphinx while telling the other teams that they are in the battle of their life. Their strengths, abilities, and everything else they learned and were taught will help come down the battle. Also, Logan says that they will defeat them, no matter who is in their way. Xavier glares at them.

Jean TKs herself towards Xavier and tries to compromise, however Xavier doesn't want to listen to her and does a psychic blast on her. Jean falls on her ass. Magma tries to help by causing fire blasts to come from the ground, but it isn't effective. Boom-Boom makes a beach-ball sized time-bomb and Colossus throws it at Xavier.

Spyke does a similar tactic to Storm and asks for her to listen. Storm doesn't want to listen and makes it hail. Iceman makes a shelter made of ice and everyone runs in their for protection. Berzerker comes out and electricutes her with lightning, but retreats when a hail stone is falling on him. Spyke yells at him saying that she's a victim too.

Wanda tries to talk to her father and asks him to understand. Magneto doesn't listen and throws a Sentinel debris on her. Shadowcat phases her saftely out and explains that he isn't her father anymore. Magneto then uses his ablities to bring his Sentinel back to life.

Logan's team is inside the sphinx is looking around and being cautious for Mystique. Kurt hears rumbling and looks at a puddle which is shaking from the tremor. The puddle turns into Mystique and Mystique throws Kurt on Logan. Cyclops shoots her with optic blasts. It goes right through her, but her abilities make her to regenerate.

Apocalypse is in one of the rooms in the sphinx powering up the tops of the pyramid. The tops of the pyramids turn break apart and starts to make a barrier around the world.

Wanda is continuously dodging Sentinel blows and not even trying to attack Magneto. Kitty goes to her and tells her that they will lose if Wanda doesn't fight back. Suddenly, Kitty gets knocked out by the Sentinel and Wanda grows angry. Wanda casts a nullified-hex on Magneto and the Sentinel falls down.

Storm continues to makes lightning bolts, but Iceman ices her over and she falls on the ground. Beast tells the other teams that they need to over-ride the base units that are in the pyramids.

Sunspot, in Mexico, jumps into a Sentinel breaking it apart. Magneto uses a debris to knock out Sunspot. Havok and Shadowcat phases behind Magneto to try to brun through the pyramid. Magneto sees this and makes a Sentinel to fall on her.

Boom-Boom is making tons of explosives to give to Jamie so he can use a slingshot to hit and distract Xavier. It works, but Xavier uses a mind-bolt to knock out the many Multiples. Colossus tries to break through the pyramid by his fists, but Xavier makes a mind-numb bolt his him too. The same thing with Magma.

Jean goes out of the X-Jet with Cerebro on her head. She TKs over towards the Professor and tells her that Cerebro would even out the odds. The two start to fight but then they bring out their astral projection-self to fight. Jean's AP  tries to block Xavier with a shield.

The Sentinels that are in space are trying to break the pyramid tops. One of them busts and Apocalypse goes to tells Magneto that he needs help. Magneto drops what he is doing and goes into space. Wanda goes to Shadowcat who is unconscious and tries to wake her up so they can go inside the pyramid. Shadowcat doesn't wake up and Wanda goes up and tries to hex the pyramid top beams.

Magneto is in space and breaks the Sentinels together and goes back down to finish off the Shadowcat's team. Magneto gets a large Sentinel debris and crashes it on Wanda, but Pietro comes to zip her away before being crushed. He says "Hi, sis." And the other Brotherhood member comes and tells them that they stole a jet, got lost, but managed to get there on time.

Mystique and Wolverine are still fighting, although it seems that Mystique is winning, Wolverine gets a few hits. But Mystique uppercuts Wolverine into a hole.

Storm and Berzerker are going out of it. Storm bring lightning bolts to Berzerker, however this energizes Berzerker and he blasts Storm to the ground. Although Storm makes it rain and it electricutes Berzerker, rendering him unconscious. Beast sees this and tells Wolverine weakly that they may not make it.

Rogue, Dorian, Missus Leech, Cannonball and Nick Fury are on a helijet around the sphinx. Rogue explains to Dorian that his powers of dampening powers might help save the world. Dorian agrees and Rogue absorbs his powers. Cannonball grabs Rogue and the two fly towards the sphinx.

Magneto in Mexico faints to the ground along with, Storm, Xavier and Mystique. Also the mechanical, blue devices that were on their face start to fall off too.

Kurt wakes up and congratulates Rogue on saving the world. Rogue said she didn't do it for the world. Mystique comes by and tries to apologize for what she did, but Kurt and Rogue doesn't want anything to do with her and dismisses her. Mystique grimaces.

In Egypt, Boom-Boom grabs Colossus' arms and thanks them for the party invite. Amara comes and links arms with Tabitha. Xavier is approached by Jean and she hugs him. He hugs her too and thanks her. Although he grimaces a bit.

It's a few days later and everybody who helped bring the Four Horsemen down are by the gazebo. Xavier thanks them once again and explains what went on in Apocalypses' mind:

1) Mutants and Humans: Humans and mutants differences will still be alive.
2) Greatest enemies become friends: Magneto is seen playing with the new recruits.
3) Greatest friends become enemies: Jean is seen screaming hystrically and turns into a ball of fire shaped as a bird.
4) Xavier's students grow up: Grown-up Cyclops, Colossus, Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, X23, and Rogue (flying) does a stance.

But what ever happens to the X-Men, horendous or great. Xavier will be proud of them. We see the New Recruits, X-Men, Gambit, Havok, Angel, and the headmasters in a portrait.
