He is one of Hydra's premier agents, and is a master of hand-to-hand and armed combat. He seems to have been either genetically altered or possessing a natural mutation that makes him stronger, tougher, and with keener senses than the average human being.
Like any agent of Hydra worthy of a name, he has access to a wide array of tools and equipment that make him a formidable opponent and a dangerous tracker.
Unfortunately for Gauntlet, he was aboard the hover craft with the Supreme Hydra which X23 destroyed. Whether or not he survived the crash is unknown.
