Mystique is an unusual character. Rotten-to-the-core, she's always planning
revenge or an evil scheme against those she hates. She trusts no one and
won't think twice when using people to reach her goals. She's very
manipulative and will never work alone.
Mystique claims to be Kurt's mother. She adopted Rogue when she was only
four. It's unknown whether this is true, or whether she cares for her them,
but Mystique has a way of being very convincing when she wants to.
Mystique's power allows her to take any shape she wants, human or mutant.
Though being unable to imitate their powers, Mystique uses her intelligence
to con and trick anyone, especially Rogue.
Mystique used to disguise herself as Principal Darkholme, where she kept an
eye on everything and everyone. However, since her little encounter with
Magneto on Asteriod M, she had to give up her position as principal and
pursue other ways of getting information, mainly through a character she
either created or robbed, Risty Wilde. As Risty, Mystique befriended Rogue
and entered the X-mansion. Though her real motives are always hidden,
Mystique re-joined the Brotherhood with revenge in mind.
