Nightcrawler is fun-loving guy; he is also very caring and very loving. He
likes to please everyone, which usually ends up getting him into trouble; he
usually looks up to Scott and likes their little time together. Although he
really likes to play jokes on people, the joke is on him when people see
him. That is because Nightcrawler has a demonic appearance. He uses a
holographic inducer, which changes his appearance, when he goes to school.
Due to that little device, Nightcrawler gets a glimpse of what normal life
would be like.
Nightcrawler, much like Rogue, has a past that is a bit uncertain. He was
raised by a pair adoptive parents, but he found out that Mystique could be
his mother. This little incident made him be specially close to Rogue, who
has somewhat of a history with Mystique as well. Together, they wait and
hope for the day when they'll finally learn the truth.
Nightcrawler's powers of teleportation are able to happen because he
unconsciously passes through a different dimension. His tail is good for
grabbing things and for holding him up. Also, Nightcrawler can jump and
climb very good because of his powerful leg muscles. He makes a good and
important part of the X-men.
