Demolition Disc Beta II
This game originated from an old Windows 3.1 game called Ski Free, the object of Ski Free was to Ski down a hill dodging other skiers and snowboarders in your way and weaving around trees and jumps etc. The funny thing about Ski Free was that I could never beat it because of some weird Yeti-like snow ape that killed you 2 feet from the end line. The other Influence on this game is an improved (and much more fun) version of Ski Free called Suicide Sled created by my friend Mark Riches. In Suicide sled you can flatten other skiers and boarders on this tiny plastic sled and do stunts off of jumps. After seeing these games I decided to create my own version of these games with a "Modern Twist" I started by just making a hill which you Descend down and bumped other "Discers" into the walls to flatten them and get points. Then I threw in some guns, mines, spikes, generic powerups (health, score, weapon upgrades), and a ton of other enemies. Now the goal of Demolition Disc is to survive the level and rack up points by nuking your enemies with whatever is handy. Enough about the games' history, now it's time for the actual info.
Weapons (One can be used at a time)
AK-47: A Fully Automatic Assault Rifle straight out of Counter Strike, it spews a line of bullets fast enough to take down most enemies but it flies so fast that it takes a lot firing to hit targets to either side of your disc.
Stinger Launcher: This is the Big Daddy of Missle Launchers, it takes down a discer in 1 shot and flies just fast enough to overtake them if they're ahead of you, firing downwards sets your Missles to Ballistic Fire Mode whereas Firing to the sides Activates the Slower-Firing but much more lethal Homing Mode. That's right folks, HOMING, in other words; THERE'S NO ESCAPE!.
Mossberg 500: A Massive Pump Action Shotgun that takes down most stuff in 1 hit and even up to 3 Discers in a row. It's offset by it's limited range but makes up for with good 'ol firepower.
Mines: Army Surplus Mines make a big boom when stuff hits them, besides a Homing Stinger these are the only way to hit enemies behind you. Unlike the rest of the Weapons these can be used in conjunction with other weapons providing you pick them up.
Your Disc: It's not very Military or even very sane but when all else fails, ram away!
Your Disc (with Spikes): Slice up any Discers on contact and still be able to drop mines as you slice a line of devastation up and down the Hill.
Pickups
Repair Kit: Gives you one Life
Bag of Cash: Gives you 10 points
Disc Wax: Speeds Up your Disc so you go at Double Speed and can even outrun Bullets!
Spiked Disc: Upgrades your disc to Spiked mode
Weapons: They give your their respective Weapons
Next Level Arrow: Sends you to the Next Hill, if you miss it you're most likely screwed.
Enemies & Allies
Disc Rider MK I: A Grey Dude riding a red Disc, easily destroyed or bumped into anything
Crazy Carpeter: A Really Fast Enemy but very weak because of their type of "sled"
Crazy Ivan Carpeter: A Suicide Crazy Carpeter that blows up on contact with you.
Chao Carpet: A Chao Riding a Crazy Carpet which can help you out
Weapon Powerups on Sleds: Powerups with a Twist, you've got to get them the hard way
C4 on a Sled: It blows up when you shoot it, shoot it to kill enemies and certain walls
