Starting Setup: *Purchased for $1500 in the Summer of 2001 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z C/S - only year of the "Carrol Shelby" package = all following years are "Competition Series" - 1988 2.2l L4 block - Stock T1 turbo, intake, WGA - Stock 781 casting aluminum turbo head - Dealer add-on Direct Connect intercooler - Mopar Stage 1 Computer ('85-'86) - T-tops = bad weather stripping, leaked - Cowl induction hood scoop - Stock 16-hole aluminum rims - Stock rear spoiler - Stock ground effects - Factory digital dash (only partially functions) - 3-speed Automatic, with Stage 1 shift kit - Power windows - Power locks - Power Steering - 8-way adjustable drivers seat - T-top straps still in rear section - Rear Tonneau cover - A/C worked, small hole in pressure side line - Stock cloth '85-'86 interior (Gray) - Front disc, rear drum brakes - All correct Turbo Z and C/S badges on |

Performance Info: - Boost: =Constant - 7psi =Peak - 10psi - Couldn't get to shift from 1st to 2nd until 17mph minimum due to shift kit - 0-60 - ~6 seconds - Never track tested to my knowledge Problems/Issues after motor torn down: - Freeze crack along back of block (~ 8in) - Piston rings visible from top of pistons with head off - Head cracking towards water jackets from all intake valves |
