		Who said the New Romantics are dead ? 23 years-old designer John Galliano is currently what is termed int he rag trade "hot!" Within hours of his graduate show from st. Martin's this summer the collection had been snapped up by Brown's, probably London's most prestigious clothes shop, who gave him the fron of shop and window and told him to do with them what he wanted. The coolection is, he says, based on Les Incroyables and associated taboos".  The fabrics are tea-stained and baked to give them and authentically 18th century feel, and are remarkably versatile - the coates can be worn upside-down, inside-out and back-to-front. Future plans include a show at Olympia next month, depending on finances, and featuring a new collection for summer 1985.
