Hi. I am Shanda McDonald. I'm going to school to be a Mathematics teacher in grades 4-8. I have always wanted to be a teacher and help children succeed and now I have the chance.

My hobbies and interests include playing with my daughter and hanging out with my husband. I'm certainly busy attending school, working as a traffic coordingator and financial assistant at Westar Satellite Services, and raising Shelby. I love being a mother.

My family and I have lived in Mequite, Texas for most of my life. I have an older sister who is attending Texas A&M Commerce with me and a younger brother who is in his first year at the University of Texas at Dallas. My mother is a computer aplication consultant in the healthcare industry. My fiance, John Owen and I live in Forney with our fiteen month old daughter.

My best friend Rachel, lives in Mesquite with her husband and three kids. Her kids are all under the age of four and they enjoy playing with my daughter. She has helped me in several ways and she has helped me become a better and more patient person.
