| What is a Tag Board? A Tag board is a free service that provides visitors with a real-time discussion similar to a chatroom and without the complexity of forums. What is the differences between a Tag Board and a Message Board? Message boards have more features available but can become full off posts and topics. A Tag Board is much simpler and consists of only one single page which is more direct and is also easier to use for visitors. So what are Tag Boards used for? Tag Boards act as chatrooms for real time discussions. With a chatroom a person can not see what was previously written, while with a Tag Board you can. Tag Boards also act as a Guest Book for giving comments and suggestions to the website. Tag boards also act as a simpler Message Board where you can have discussions on anything you like. How do I use PenstudioZ Tag Board? Just type in your name, followed by an Url or email(Optional), and finally your message. Then press enter. Any rules I should observe? The rules are written clearly on the main page of the tag board. Refer to the rules there. Where do I have to register to be able to post on the board? You don't have to register. Its free for use but you must not break the rules. Why are the names of people underlined when I point on them? Those names that are underlined when pointed should be able to lead you to the person's website or email. What can I chat about using this Tag Board? Anything you like. Discussions, questions, comments or suggestions are welcome. What is the advantage for participating in this Tag Board? To get to know more about pen spinning and also make new friends including pen spinners from all over the world. Does this Tag Board auto refresh? No, you have to manually refresh it. Why is there no auto-refresh? Reasons are, 1) Modem users tend to load slower causing the page to load slower. 2) Those that are slow in typing would not be able to catch up. 3) There is a refresh limit for this Tag Board. Why do i receive errors such as it reaches a bandwidth limit from the Tag Board? This is to prevent users from refreshing too much and causes high bandwidth. If any errors occur, try to refresh the page again. What are Smilies? Smilies, or Emoticons, are small graphical images which can be used to express feelings using a short code, e.g. :) means happy, :( means sad. Yes you can, but it should not be in a way that you participated only to post your website. Why did my posts disappear? There are two reasons. One is that your post may contain things that the webmaster does not allow. Two is that the Tag Board only holds around 20 posts. The older posts will be removed once a new one is added. How many words can I post? Up to 200 words. Try to keep your messages short and clear. Can I edit or delete my own post? No. A Tag Board is very simple and very easy to use. Once you press enter, you can not change anything. What if I made an error in my post and I wish to amend it? You can make another post explaining the errors made. Can I post more than one time in a row? Yes you can, but do not abuse by flooding. What if someone insulted me in the Tag Board? Report the webmaster so that his/her post can be removed immediately. |
