Where there was only rain.
A smile spins a cheerful web
That binds us one and all
With threads of human kindness

There is a trail that leads me
Amid the lush green of the grass,
With flowers bending in the breeze,
Tossing heads in sprightly dance.
I stand in speechless silence
As a deer lies languid in the shade,
in this lavish land of mystic trails,
Where once my mother knelt and prayed.
Once as a child, she said to me,
" Do not forsake this countryside.
Like Heaven's endless arch, it spans,
And every Spring it come alive."
In the wintertime the budding twigs
Are treasures of the shielding snow.
In springtime they will burst to life
And yield the Summer's first red rose."
Suddenly,I wake to find
I have been lost in endless sleep.
One bright red rosebud in my hand,
And dreams to keep...and dreams to keep.

I'm truly touched by miracles
That bless my life each day.
As I'm thanking God for one,
I see another come my way.
The vastness of the ocean,
The beauty of the sky,
The splendor of the universe,
all in God's watchful eye.
Large trees and lovely flowers,
The many singing birds,
The colors of the rainbow,
True beauty without words.
Huge canyons and great mountains,
Large rivers and small streams,
The beauty of Fall colors,
And the miracle of dreams.
The beginning of a tiny life
From conception on through birth,
The process known as aging,
As we live upon this earth.
Yes, life is filled with miracles
Given by God's mighty hand.
Each day they're greatly multiplied
And as abundant as the sand.

However cold the Winter,
I find the golden sun.
However dark the night hours,
The dawn is sure to come.
