David Siegel has been around books and periodicals most of his life. As an avid collector of books in fields ranging from historical geography to Celtic musicology to agriculture and engineering, his feel for the English language is both broad and deep.
With experience in the sciences, a strong background in the humanites, and a Master's degree in library and information science, David has worked as a librarian in both the United States and in Israel, as well as a free-lance editor.

He is a native speaker of English who was born in the United States, lived in Britain, and makes his permanent his home in the north of Israel.  Before moving to Israel he had a private library of nealy 10,000 books.  Most of these were donated to several universities in the American mid-west.

In his spare time David is musical director of the Israel Pipes & Drums, and gives lessons in the Scottish Highland pipes.

His varied experiences in life add much to his skills as an editor.
