Manali is an entry point to Leh by road. Another entry point to Leh is through Kargil region.

Trekking in Manali

Trekking on full moon is a wonderful experience in Manali. The delightful warm moon light is enough to guide through distinctly visible snow capped mountains and peaks. The photograph was taken on tripod with exposure time of 15 seconds.

Solang Valley

Solang valley is about 13 km from Manali. In winters, it offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains. Its slopes are excellent for skiing. In summer, the snow melts and Solang valley becomes site for paragliding.
