Julie Cox, who plays Giulietta had her first movieappearence as Emperor
in The endless story Part 3. She acts in English and France and
so she got roles in the adaptions of Marinaux's theatreplay from
the 18th century "La Vie de Marianne", the English/German Kidmovie
"Das sprechende Grab" and in the shortfilm "It's a Wonderful
Life", which is accorded to Kafka and won the BAFTA-award and also
an academy-award in 1995.
The British Fans know Julie Cox from the mini-serie of BBC "Tears Before Bedtime". In the last years she appeared in Michael Anderson's TV-Movie "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". Other TV-presences were in an episode of the HBO-serie "Tales from the Crypt" and in "The Ring". Julie Cox were born near Cambridge in Ely, England, and grow up in the
scottish Highlands. When she was six years old, she settled to Indonesia
with her family, were her father worked in the oilbusiness. She came through
whole south-east-asia and went to 16 diffrent schools. Sven years later,
in Jakarta, she got interested in acting. After finishing school in Australia
she came back to England to see that she was a foreigner in her own country.
In London she did a comercial and got engagements in Great Britain and
other european countrys. Then she practised for two years in a theatreworkshop
in Paris and settled back to England in 1992 , where she found an agency
and started her professional carrier with "Die unendliche Geschichte
III".
