Jessica This page is dedicated to the memory of my first dog, Jessica and to the dog who now calls our home his, Boober. Jessica was given to me as a Christmas present in 1985 and she lived to be 15 years old. She was a delight and a joy to have around the house. I dearly loved her and she was very protective of me. She began to suffer from congestive heart failure and then tumors began popping up on her. We had several removed, but the last one and biggest one just couldn't be removed. She began to be unable to stand because it weighted down her back leg even though she was feisty to the end. We want to thank Dr. David Fain, DVM who helped us with her. Jessica is buried in our yard under a stone with her name. She was mighty fine little companion.

Boober

Boober is slick-haired fox terrier. He is a fiercely protective dog and very devoted to the family. He is very funny to watch and keeps us all entertained. Boober wandered up to the house as a thin,hungry and sad looking dog! I can't stand anything to go hungry and although I really didn't want another dog, this one stole my heart! So he was fed and decided he had found heaven!

As you can tell my family and I are animal lovers and there are three granddogs belonging to our sons and their families to go along with our dog. I honestly believe that animals were put on earth to bring us pleasure and we are to be kind to them. They are God's creatures too. Animals seems to sense when you need to be close to someone and our dogs love to cuddle and let us know they care. When they know they are cared for, they return the favor in multiples.

One of my favorite shows is on the Animal Planet channel and it is called "Animal Cops." It is about the ASPCA rescuing animals who are mistreated. Anyone who would abuse an animal is sick! They only want to love you and be your friend. Go check out this website by clicking on the dog in the car and see about animals!
