This is a picture of my sister-in-law, Charline. She has been like a mother to my husband since their mother's death.
This is Charline with her daughter, Renee' who lives in California. Renee is a secretary for a law firm and she is also a singer. She has appeared in many plays, operas and she sings at her church. When I get more information about her appearances, I'll include it here. Her husband is a flautist and their love of music is very special.
This next picture of my mother and father-in-law, Rosa and Cliff Dominy. Rosa's maiden name was Hutson. She and Cliff raised their nephew, Phil Hutson (my husband) when his mother, Alta Hutson, died in childbirth. Marvin Hutson, Phil's father, worked in the woods as a pulpwood cutter and was unable to tend to a newborn baby and work after losing his wife. Sadly, he allowed his sister, Rosa, and her husband, Cliff to become Phil's legal guardians and raise him as theirs. They were thrilled to have a new baby boy and loved Phil so very much. He felt the same way about them. He did continue to see his natural father over the years, and they had a very good relationship, but Rosie and Cliff were Mom and Dad. Our oldest son, Cliff, is named after Cliff Dominy. I think that is a very fitting testimony to the love Phil felt for his parents. Oh a side note, all of the grandkids called them Mommy and Big Daddy! What a pair.
