| This Web-Site is for the promotion of History and Genealogy concerning the Whitfield / Ross Texas Cavalry Brigade, its four regiments and the memory of the 5000 plus Confederate Soldiers of Texas who served with honor and distinction in these units. That I am kin to two of those soldiers has led me to developing this site, while making it free for those who are researching their genealogy or researching for history. Use the site, ask questions, make suggestions. Any data received concerning individual soldiers is appreciated, and will be used at your direction. It is my hope we share, so that all may learn.
