Hardin, Andrew Johnson
Age   41, 10 Sep 61 the units muster.  He resigned / was dropped from rolls on May 22, 1862 during reorganization.  The following data came from the 1860   census: [K1860-52/52 A. J. Hardin, 44, from Arkansas.]  Later he was a Captain in Co. G, 2nd Cavalry,   Texas State Troops (Rangers).  He was   born 4 Nov. 1815 in Arkansas and died 20 Jan 1989 in Wilbarger Co. TX.
Porter, James S. Age   26, 10 Sep 61 the units muster. The   1860 census had: [K1860-2/2 J.S. Porter, 25, KY, LAWYER] and he lived in KaufmanCounty. He commanded the company   for the remainder of the war.

Nash, Lewelyn T. He was   promoted May 18, 1862. He was 31, Sep 10, 1861; He was a resident of KaufmanCounty.    [K1860-63/63 L.T. Nash, 30, TN, Merchant]

He   was a Sgt at muster and was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant and he came   from KaufmanCounty.
Vance, James G. He   was resigned / was dropped from rolls on May 23,    1862   during reorganization.  At the time of   muster he was 32, 9 Sep 1861.  During the 1860 census: [K1860-14/14 James   G. Vance, 37, from Illinois and a master   carpenter.  He was from KaufmanCounty.
Woolworth, Charles H. Lt   Woolworth was cashiered from service on May 25,    1864.

Still, Walter T.
He   was 25 and a bugler at muster 10 Sep 1861.  During the 1860 census he lived in KaufmanCounty: [K1860-212/212 Walton   Steel, 24, from Tennessee and was raising   stock.  He was a member of Kyser's Militia Company and is found in Deed Book I, Page   Number 51.

Gray, Robert M. He   was 20, 10 Sep 1861 at the time of the   muster.  During the 1860 census:   [K1860- 93/93 Robert M. Gray, 19, from Missouri and lived in KaufmanCounty].
Hardin, James C.(d) James C. Hardin was 23, 10 Sep 1861 at muster.  He died 18 Nov 1861 near Pineville, Arkansas.  The 1860 census listed him:   [K1860-74/74 J.C. Hardin, 22, from Arkansas, a stock raiser and from KaufmanCounty].
Nash, Herbert T. He   was 20, 10 Sep 1861 during muster.  The 1860 census listed: [K1860-15/15   Herbert Nash, 20, from Texas and living in KaufmanCounty]
He   was 33, 10 Sep 1861 at muster.  During the 1860 census: [K1860-67/67 J.   Edward Peters, 30, from Virginia and a brick mason. He was   a member of Kyser's Militia Company and is listed   in Deed Book I, Page Number 51.   He   was from Kaufman  County and was born 26 Jul 1829 in Virginia and died  16 Aug    1916,  and is in WaltersCemetery, Cotton County, Oklahoma.  A photo is available on Kaufman County Webb   site.

Chandler, George W.
McSween, John (d) Corporal John McSween was 20, 10 Sep 1861 during muster.  He was wounded   14 July    1864 near Campbellton, Ga, and admitted to the OcmulgeeHospital in Macon, Georgia.  He died on 11 August 1864.  He is found on the 1860   census living in KaufmanCounty: [K1860-207/207 John McSwain, 19, from Alabama].

Hyatt,   Jessie Wilburn He was 18 on 19 Dec 1861.  He died on August 5, 1862   at the hospital in Mooresville,    Mississippi.  His father was Jason C. Hyatt.  He was from Kaufman, and listed in the 1860   census: [K1860-433/433 Jesse W. Hyett, 17, from Missouri and a farm laborer].

LaRoe, Alfred Alonzo He   was from Kaufman and found in the 1860 census: [K1860-612/610 Alfred Laro, 18, from New Jersey and a farmer].  He was born in  1841,inNew Jersey and died in 1901 in El Paso County, Texas.
LaRoe, John V. (d) John V. LaRoe died from disease at a hospital in MS?, June 18, 1862.  His census data was[J.V. Laaroe, Kyser's Militia Company   found in Deed Book I, page Number 51 and was from Kaufman County.
LaRoe, Richard Henry He   was born May 29, 1844, in New Jersey and died July 2, 1918, in Fox, Texas. His pension was # 28862.   He was from Kaufman and was a member of Kyser's Militia   Company.  In the 1860 census:   [K1860-163/163 Richard H. Laro, 16, from NJ].    
Lewis, John G. He   was 45, 10 SEP 61.  He was from Kaufman and the 1860 census   listed: [K1860-237/238 J.G Lewis, 43, from North Carolina and a Farmer].
Lewis, John Madison Born   April 15, 1842, in Alabama and died October 18, 1927 at Hillcrest, Texas.  He was 18, 10    SEP 61. And the census listed: [K1860-237/238 John M. Lewis, 18, from Alabama and a farmer].
