Griffith, John Summerfield
He was 31,   September 9th, 1861 at Muster.  He was from KaufmanCounty and was listed in the 1860   census: [K1860-604/602 J. S. Dye, Amos He   resigned / was dropped from rolls on May 25, 1862 on a re-organization.  He was 37, 9 Sep 61.    In the 1860 census: [K1860-335/337 A. Dye, 36, from Virginia and a wagon maker.  He was from KaufmanCounty and a member of Griffith's Militia Company, Deed Book I, page 33.
Wade, Henry W. He was 28,   9 Sep 61, and a private.  He   was from KaufmanCounty and listed in the 1860 census:   [K1860-321/323 H. W. Wade, 27, from Kentucky and a farmer].He commanded   Company B. from May 25, 1862 until the unit was paroled in May   1865. He was wounded several times and at one point had to go home to gain   his health.
  1st LIEUTENANTS
Cummings, Alfred
He was   dropped May 25, 1862.He was from KaufmanCounty and listed in the 1860 census:   [K1860-348/348 A. Cummings, 36, from Kentucky, and an Inn Keeper].He was also a   member of Griffith's Militia Company,   see Deed Book I, Page Number 33.
Moore, John W. (k) John W. Moore was killed in the Battle of Corinth, Mississippi on October 3, 1862, during the first day of combat.
Wade, Terry U. He was   30, 9 SEP 61.  He was   from Kaufman and listed in the 1860 census: [K1860-601/599 T. U. Wade, 30,   from Kentucky and a farmer.] At muster he was elected 1st   Sgt. May 26, 1862 he was not re-elected. After Corinth / HatchieBridge he was appointed First Lieutenant   and commanded the company in his brothers absence.   On November 20, 1864, while in Texas he resigned his commission. This   was approved on January 20, 1864.

Lancaster, George W.
Promoted APRIL    3, 1864.  He was 22, 9 Sep 1861.    He was from Kaufman and was listed in the 1860 census:  [K1860-338/340 George W. Lancaster, 21,   from Missouri, and a Teaming.  He   was a member of Griffith's Militia Company, Deed Book I,   page 33.
Richardson, Amos M. He was a Lieutenant in Griffith?s   Militia and the Company Farrier (Blacksmith) for Company B.
Sullivan, Ambrose W. (d) He was 22,   9 Sep 61.  He was from   Kaufman and was found in the 1860 census: [K1860-333/335 Ambrose W. Sullivan,   21, from North Carolina and a Merchant clerk.]  He was wounded at Corinth on October    4th, 1862, and died at Iuka, MS (which was controlled by the   Union Forces on Nov. 21, 1862. He was dropped to ranks Aug.    3, 1865.
Thomas, Abert R. He was 19,   9 SEP 61.  He was from   Kaufman and listed is the 1860 Census: [K1860-123/123 Albert R. Thomas, 17, from   Kentucky].
Truett, James He was dropped   May 25, 1862.  He was   from Kaufman and listed in the 1860 census: [K1860-307/309 James Truett, 37, from Kentucky and a farmer]. He was 41, 9    Sep 1861   and a member of Griffith's Militia Company, Deed Book I, Page 33.
Wade, William B. (w) He was   18, 9 Sep 61.  He was   from Kaufman and was listed in the 1860 census:  [K1860-304/306 William Wade, 18, from Kentucky a teaming].He was initially the   Company 2nd Sergeant, and was not reelected. After Corinth and HatchieBridge, he was appointed to 1st   Sgt. He was Capt. Wade?s brother. He was appointed   second lieutenant after his brother Terry left. He was wounded at Thompson?s   Station on March 5, 1863.
Williams, Bluford L. He resigned   / was dropped May 25, 1862.    He was 26, 9 Sep 1861. He was from Kaufman and listed   in the 1860 census:  [K1860-328/330 B.   L. Williams, 25, from Tennessee a farmer.]
Williams, Charles B. (k) Lt.   Charles B. Williams was killed in combat on the first day of the Battle of   Corinth, MS, on Oct. 3rd, 1862.

Davis, Oliver Perry (d) Oliver Perry Davis was 23, 9 Sep 1861. He was from Kaufman and was listed on the 1860 census:   [K1860-263/263 O. P. Davis, 22, from Kentucky and a Teamster.]  He died of   disease on November 17, 1861 in Bentonville, Arkansas.  He was a member of Griffith's   Militia Company, Deed Book I, page 33.

Jones, Mial B. (d) Corporal   Mial B. Jones was 48, 9 Sep 61.  He was left sick   at Rockwall, Texas and died November 4, 1861.  He had lived in   Kaufman County.
Watkins, Samuel Corporal   Samuel Watkins was 19, 9 Sep 61.    He was from Arkansas and lived in Kaufman.  He was killed in the Battle for Corinth, MS on October  3, 1862.

Amick, Alvin
He was 36,   9 Sep 61.  he was from Kaufman and listed in the 1860 census:   [K1860-350/350 A. Amick, 39, from Missouri and a farmer.]  He was a member of Griffith's Militia Company and is found in   Deed Book I, page 33. Amick was discharged by Gen.   H. E. McCullogh on July    16, 1862.

He was   from Kaufman and found in the 1860 census: [K1860-375/375 J. P. Miller.  He was 24, 9 Sep 61, from Tennessee and a farm laborer.]  he was a Member of   Griffith's Militia Company, found in Deed Book I, page 33.

He was 32,   9 Sep 61.  He was frm Kaufman and listed in the 1860 census: [K1860-344/346   D.J. Anderson, 30, from Kentucky, and a Blacksmith.] His name was   listed on the indigent list in 1864 and 1865.

Blake, Christopher C. He was 31,   9 Sep 1861.  He was from   Kaufman and found on the 1860 census: [K1860-288/290 C.C. Blake, 35, from Kentucky and a farmer.] He was on the   indigent list in 1864/5. Blake was discharged by Gen. H. E. McCulloch on 16 July 1862
Bourn, Reuben He was   from Kaufman and is listed on the 1860 census: [K1860-339/341 R. Bowin, 28, from Kentucky and a farmer.]  He also served in Company G, 12th Texas   Cavalry.
Bowles, Watson B. He was born September 19, 1821 in Kentucky and died April 18, 1874 in Rockwell, Texas. He was 40, 9    Sep 61.   He lived in KaufmanCounty and was listed on the 1860   census: [K1860-324/326 W.B. Boles, 39, from Illinois and a farmer.]  He was a Member of Griffith's Militia   Company, and found in Deed Book I, page 33, and later served in Company G,   2nd Cavalry, Texas State Troops.
Boydston, John Riley He was 27   on 9 Sep 1861,  He was from Kaufman and listed in the 1860 census:  [K1860-338/340 R. Boydston,   25, from Kentucky and a master carpenter.]  He was a member of Griffith's Militia Company, and found in   Deed Book I, page 33.
Briscoe, Larkin W. He was 33,   9 Sep 61.  He was from   Kaufman and listed in the 1860 census: [K1860-253/253 L.W. Brisco, 32, from Tennessee, a farmer and a member of Griffith's Militia Company, found in Deed   Book I, page 33.
