ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The sports program at Sligo Adventist School is a schoolwide program which includes three  separate entities:  annual varsity athletics,and intramurals that support a K-8 physical education program which includes field days and miscellaneous sports activities.  Our program has of it's greatest resources, the support of Columbia Union College sports, Acroairs, Takoma Academy and of course undeniably our wonderful students, parents & faculty and staff.

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

Hello Students & Parents, Welcome to our Sports Page.  My name  -Mrs. Joyce Martin.  I have  worked at Sligo Adventist School for 17 years as your P. E. Teacher &  Sports Director.  I graduated from Columbia Union College- I enjoyed sports there but it was long before the NCAA Pioneers .  At Sligo, I have created and maintained my passion for sports as evidenced  in an  areawide school tournament for basketball. If I have not yet met you, I hope to do so in the near future.  Until then, Go Sligo Super-Sports!

HOME BASKETBALL GAMES 4:00pm - 6:00pm Thurs 1/18  NCA Thurs 1/25 JNA Sat & Sun Feb. 3 & 4    SAS Invitational Basketball        Tournament   Times  TBA

5th Grade & Middle School students are required to wear  uniforms.  Gray  T-Shirt and navy shorts ....they can only be purchased through our P .E. Department..Navy blue sweatpants can be purchased at any store.  Please ensure that your student is fully dressed out in class so they can participate in PE and not lose any grade penalties.
