This aircraft was the first, which was built in Goather Waggonfabrik
Company after the end of WW1. The first prototype, constructed by ing. Kalhert,
flied for the first time in February 1934. It's construction was from wood,
covered by fabric, powered by the powerplant Argus As 10 C. In 1935 entered
the Luftwaffe service. There was keen interest in this aircraft, so that the
licence production started at Ago, Focke Wulf and BFW Companies. Also Turkey
and Spain gained the licence. Except the version A was also producing Go 145B
with the enclosed cockpit and Go 145 C, armed with one moveable MG 15 machine
gun in the rear cockpit that served for training of gunners.
According the Soviet Po-2, which were undertaken the night
air raids, Luftwaffe established similar units. Mainly used planes were Go 145.
This units approved big efficiency, so that new units were still establishing.
Go 145 remained in this units till the end of WWII.
