This is a memorial wall made especially for children who have died from SIDS [Sudden Infant Death Syndrome]. Please use the form at the bottom of the page to send me your information.
Many more children die of SIDS in a year than all who die of cancer, heart disease, pneumonia, child abuse, AIDS, cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy combined. SIDS remains the leading cause of death in the United States among infants between 1 month and 1 year of age and second only to congenital anomalies as the leading overall cause of death for all infants less than 1 year of age. Babies are not supposed to die. Because the death of an infant is traumatic for parents, family, and friends, I hope that this page fills some small void in the lives of the parents and families of those who have lost a child to SIDS.

Creator God,
born an infant in Jesus Christ in the family of Joseph and Mary,
we give you thanks for the children below born among us full of hope and promise. We remember that Jesus Christ lifted children into loving arms to embrace and bless them. We ask you to embrace and bless these children as part of your heavenly family where, by your grace, our lives are brought to fullness in the peace of
your eternal home.
God of all mercies, whose heart aches with
our human hurtings, we commend to your love the families of
these children. Sustain the families in their loss and in their
loneliness. Grant the peace of knowing that these children are
with you, both in this life and in the life that is to come;
through Jesus Christ, your beloved child, and our risen Savior.
