There is a long story about KeeKee. She belonged to a neighbor who seldom let her in and always fed her outdoors. The worst about that was red ants also found the food. She is a Manx, also known as a bobtail and that is what they had named her. They never took her for shots and she must have had about 3 litters of kittens before she was 2 years old. She would come to our place for food and at first my husband would shoo her home. Then one day he felt sorry for her and started to feed her. She would come every day. Then one day she
wanted in the house, so he asked me if that would be ok and of couse it was. At a later time, my husband asked the owner if we could have her and she said ok as she is never stayed home any more. The first thing we did was to give her a new name. We then took her for shots, but before we could get her spayed, she had a litter of kittens again. After that there were no more kittens as she went to the vet. She is such a wonderful cat and her and Cody play and chase each other. Keekee also likes to clean Cody and sometimes they are cleaning each other. The only time you hear her is when she wants to eat and if you call her by name, she will always come running to you. I am so glad that we took her in, I doubt if she would be alive today. The song playing is "I will survive" and I think this fits her as she did survive.
These recent pictures show her now and also with no tail, this is how she has to sit and clean herself as most cats have a tail for balance.
