| Although the Inn is located in the mountains of Torvaldsland, below in the valley, it is sunny and nice during the summer. The crops flourish, the bosk are tended, and there are festivals of all sorts. The slaves are allowed to attend the festivals with their Masters, entering contests, enjoying good food, and conversing with other slaves. Those that have displeased their Masters are put up for sale at one of the ever present slave blocks. |

| The Men of Torvaldsland enter a myriad of contests, poetry, singing, riddle solving, archery, swimming, wrestling, axe throwing and drinking. The main festival is called The Thing. It is held at the encampment of Svein Blue Tooth. During the festival, even the oldest of enemies is granted freedom to attend. A sentence of death or banishment is imposed on anyone breaking the treaty durning The Thing. The winner of each event is given a talmit, the overall champion being he who wins the most events. After each days events, there is always a big banquet in the great hall of Svein. Drinking, dancing, wenching and fighting. Old times are relived and new memories are made. At the end of the festival, clans return to their homes and the treaty is ended. |
