| People often wonder; "Spells??? WITCHCRAFT?!? Wicca?". Ok let me just inform you. Spells are a form of witchcraft but wiccans do not use magick to harm people. The Wicca believe in Karma that anything, good or bad, you do will come back upon you three fold... therefor an evil spell = evil outcome. Spells are only a focus point on aiding us in a perticular direction, they use magick to get us what we need or want. Magick is a gift from nature and we should always be thankful for it. Now if spells and magick is all you are interested in Wicca probably is not the answer for you, you could just want to be a "magickal practicioner". Just FYI, many people believe that male witches are known as Warlocks, which is TOTALLY incorrect. Warlock comes from the latin word Warlauque which means OATHBREAKER, hence Warlock is a derogatory term towards male witches. Anyway, back to spells! Spells should always be in rhyme, and never ever be told to a single soul because its power will deminish or decrease., and must always be acurate. Personally I believe a spell should be written by it's caster, so you wont see any spells here. Those are the basic rules. |

| 1.) Write the spell in rhyme - a spell should be written by the caster 2.) Memorize it - this really helps if you want it to work, its not easy to read a notecard and wave your hand. 3.) Decide how you want to cast it - you can use candles (coloration is important look at the color page), incense, burning paper, whatever feels good. You can get ideas online from different people. 4.) Meditate or ground- close your eyes, listen to peaceful music, relax, you may move your arms and body freely. Now think of a pleasent thought. Stop when you feel like a new you. 5.) Cast your spell- moon phases are important (see the moon page), and/or cast your circle for a stronger spell. 6.) Wait. All spells can take lots of time, but usually they can work by the next moon phase. 7.) Thank your sources - the God and Goddess, your god if you are an eclectic. 8.) STAY QUIET - when people cast a spell they always seam to want to tell people, but that can damage the power of the spell, the outcome, or sacrifice the whole spell in total. 9.) A spell is nearly always irreversible - a spell is something with strength from your mind body and soul and the powers of the earth, reversing a spell would be quite difficult. 10.) Be careful what you wish for. |
