Welcome to my Strat-O-Matic Baseball Page. Included on this page is a variety of Japanese Baseball Seasons created for use with the Strat-O-Matic Computer Baseball game. All of the content is free for you to use.

Please remember that the Strat-O-Matic Game company produces our favorite games and that we should continue to help support them. This site is intended to enhance your game playing experience and in turn increase interest in SOM games.

You may play these hand created seasons without owning the Career Historical Disk set. They are made with the player creation feature of SOM. These seasons are in the binary format of the SOM baseball game. You will need the game to use / view the data.

The Central League does not use the DH. The Pacific League uses the DH rule. The winner of each league then meets ofr the championship of Japan.

Generally, there are no lefty / righty splits for batters or pitchers (not enough data is available). The batting splits are simulated.

To use these seasons, download the season of interest. Unzip it into an appropriately named folder (i.e. SOM1997Japan for the 1997 Japan season). Copy the contents of this new folder to your 'Rosters' folder of your SOM baseball game (i.e. c:\cdrombb\rosters). If you have done everything correctly, the new season will show up the next time you start the game.
