Tim and Jono's Spawn Page

This is our attempt to create a page devoted to our favorite character and comic book. Spawn was created by Todd McFarlane way before the comics debut in 1992. Spawn became a great hit among many Image Comics fans and it still is. Todd McFarlane drew, inked, and wrote the comic until soon after his creation of Todd Toys, later renamed McFarlane Toys, and handed over penciling to Greg Capullo but continued to write and ink. We would like to see Todd go back to drawing but Greg is good and we like the McFarlane toys.

The Characters:

Spawn - The main character who made a deal with Malebolgia in order to get his life back to be with his wife. He has many powers like teleportation, super strength, energy blasts, and density increase. He can basically do whatever he likes but he has a limit on his powers. Each time he uses his powers he loses some of his life. When he reaches zero he goes back to Hell. In fact he just finished his supply to save Terry's life and fought his way through Hell to save his own soul.

Al Simmons - A C.I.A assassin who specialized in assassination and government-sanctioned terrorism. He lost his life under orders from his boss, Jason Wynn, by his teammate Chapel. He then went to Hell and made a deal with Malebolgia to get his life back.

Malebolgia - The ruler of the 8th level of Hell who gave Spawn his powers and wants him to become a general of Hell's army.

Violator - One of Hell's creations who believes that only Hell's children should become Spawns. He spends most of his time trying to destroy Spawn to prove that he is better.

Cog - He is a mysterious person that seems to know more about Spawn than Spawn does. He is constantly talking to Spawn about his purpose in life and how he can control his powers.

Wanda Blake - Al Simmons beautiful wife. The reason he sold his soul to Malebolgia and is now married to Al's friend, Terry Fitzgerald.

Terry Fitzgerald - Al's best friend who married Wanda after his death and currently works for the C.I.A.

Cyan FitzgeraldThe lovely daughter of Wanda and Terry. It hurts Al to see her because him and Wanda were supposedly unable to have children. Now that he sees her, he knows it is he who cannot have children.

Angela - An angel of Heaven who vowed to kill Spawn and all of Hell's demons.

Sam Burke - A detective who is trying to figure out who Spawn is. He now has his own private detective agency with his partner, Twitch.

"Twitch" Williams - Sam's partner and an excellent sharpshooter. Although he is disgusted by Sam's actions at times, he believes Sam is a very good friend.
