OPERATIONAL DETACHMENT UNITS
UNIDADES DE DESTACAMENTO OPERACIONAL

The Operational Detachment (ODa) is the next echelon among military units (after the squad) and its strength varies from mission to mission.  It's the formation of choice among SpecOps teams (they called them A-Teams) and it can be broken into two independent squads.  Unlike squads formations, the ODa is composed of the following members:


ODa Commander - Usually a Captain (CPT/O-3)
ODa Executive Officer - Usually a Warrant Officer (WO1/W-1)


ODa Ops NCOIC - Usually a First Sergeant (1SG/E-8) or above
ODa NCOIC - Usually a Master Sergeant (MSG/E-8) or above


ODa Weapons NCOIC (SFC/E-7)
ODa Weapons Assistant (SSG/E-6)
ODa Medical NCOIC (SFC/E-7)
ODa Medical Assistant (SSG/E-6)
ODa Engineer NCOIC (SFC/E-7)
ODa Engineer Assistant (SSG/E-6)
ODa Communications NCOIC (SFC/E-7)
ODa Communications Assistant (SSG/E-6)
