The living experience consists, basically, of you living with five other people you don't have a clue who they are. It may sound hard, or even crowded, but it really isn't. You can choose between a 2-room or a 3-room apartment, in which you'll be living with 3 other or 5 other people, respectively. You know the saying "the more the merrier"? In this case, the more the cheaper. And it doesn't get crowded, even with 5 other people living in there. First of all, you'll be working. A LOT. Which means you'll all be home at different times. I spent almost four days in a row without seeing a single soul in there, it almost felt like I had the whole place to myself. Second, if you're lucky enough your roommates will be great people (as mine were - love you guys!!), so you won't find yourself begging to be left alone. Anyways, the idea here is for you to just have a good time with your roommates, and your neighboors, sharing the place, taking care of it (tiding up the kitchen can become a real discussion problem) and all that. The apartments have, besides the bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. It comes complete with silverware, stove, microwave, fridge, couches, tables, chairs, dishwasher... There are washers and dryers in each building, and it used to be a buck each. Also, it's possible to rent TVs, stereos and VCRs. There's cable, but not too many channels, no Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel or stuff like that. There's a phone and it's free if your call is local. Vista Way offers you a gym, a computer room with Internet access, basketball and volleyball courts, two pools, barbecue grill and buses to anywhere inside property. If you wanna go to Downtown Orlando, it's either taxi, bus or hoping you or a roommate/friend have a car. |
