How did it start, anyway??

How to start this tale? Well, I believe the proper way to start it would be by giving credit to the one person who actually gave me the chance to try being part of the Disney magic: Juliana Votto. Jú, if it wasn't for you, none of this would be here today. Yes, I'll explain. She is a good friend, from college, and she was the one who came to us one day with the startling news that Disney would hire people from Brazil, and many other countries, to work at the Walt Disney World Resort. She said it had happened in 1995, and she'd wanted to go then but couldn't, since she wasn't in college yet. So we all agreed that we would try to find out if that was still happening, so we could all go together to Orlando.

And now comes the part where I thank my parents, specially my father, for being supportive to the whole idea. Because, in order to find out if the Brazilian part of the Program was still running, I called the Job Line several times, e-mailed them my resumé, and pretty much bugged a lot of people down here from the places that had to do with the 1995 thing that we already knew about. Finally, an answer appeared. Disney sent me a letter thanking me for my interest on the Program, and gave me the name and phone number of their representant in Brazil, Mr. Juliano Garcia. So I promptly phoned him, to find out when would the selection happen. Unfortunately, someone there informed me that Mr. Garcia was already in Orlando with the Summer group, and that I should call again by the beginning of July to find out when would be the selection for the Winter group. Finally I could see some light at the end of the tunnel!
I phoned them again on the exact day they'd told me too, just to find out that I'd have to travel to another town in order to attend to the presentation, and the interview. Long story short, I passed on the first interview, went to São Paulo again for a new presentation and interview (this time more detailed, and with American interviewers), and then finally received the answer that I had been accepted! So, on with the show, let's start the actual details.
