General Info : The Spotted Python is the most popular snake in Austalian, American, and European collections. Atleast 4 generations of Spotted Pythons have been bred in the USA. Some lineages may be traceable back to a pair of Spotted Pythons that were imported from the Cape York Peninsula of Northeastern Queensland Australia. The decendants of these imported Spotted Pythons can be distinguished by their large size and pale yellow bellies.

Range & Habitat : The Spotted Pythons can be found in New South Wales, Australia, woodlands and rocky outcrops. They may also be found around suburban areas where they are tolerated because they eat rats.

Appearance : The Spotted Pythons are a small Python, similar to the Childrens Pythons. Spotted Pythons have bold marks with large blotches that are dark brown on a pale brown or yellow background. The Spotted Pythons have large scales covering the head  and has it's heat pits in the upper and lowwer jaw's.
