Greetings,
I demanded perfection,
and so for an hour, I riffled and speed-read through rows and rows
of cards. My work was cut out for
me, and lo and behold, with patience and perseverance, I found them
-- the perfect card for each of my loved ones around the table
tomorrow night.
For Sue, our
Godsister:
A velvety purple-blue
card with a Christmas tree cut-out with the sentiment:
For our Godsister,
If we didn't have you
for a sister,
We'd have missed some
wonderful times
and the knowledge that
the best of friends
are found in families.
Merry Christmas, Godsister!
For Samara &
Jonathan, our Goddaughter and Godson-in-law:
A gold, red and black
dramatic graphic artwork with the sentiment:
Christmas is the
Time,
Family is the Gift.
For a special Goddaughter and "Godson"
Wishing you love at
Christmas.
For Alana, our
Goddaughter:
A twirling skater with
dreamy, swirly artwork with the sentiment that describes her
perfectly:
For a special Goddaughter,
In our family,
there was some cuteness
that grew into grace
(you can see it in the
photo albums),
There was some drama
and a lot of loud
laughter
(you can almost hear it
still).
In our family,
there was a daughter who
was a gift
to everyone who knew her
(and she still is).
Merry Christmas.
For DH:
A green card with pine
trees and a single metallic copper cabin with the sentiment:
for my husband
love is ours
yours and mine
(red heart)
sounds so sweet
feels so fine
smiles so big
shines so bright
lights our day
warms our nights
love's a world
meant to share
love is home
we live here.
"Life is a Gift."
Sincerely,
