Located approx 8 miles east of the Tavern Town. Several portals lead into the vicinity of the Tavern and other places of interest, known to IPD personal and allies (though just the IPD leaders know all portals). The gates open 100 to 300 yards around the HQ, guarded by magic. An IPD member with pin can activate a portal by thought.

The keep is currently in ruins, and not habitable.
No personell is stationed there and the gates are inactive. A strong ward prevents fire, but the library has been moved
IPD Guild Pin
Touching the pin and concentrating on the correct codeword activates a teleport to the IPD HeadQuarters, with a summoning of the IPD healers, acting as emergency escape for an IPD member. The pins are DNA coded and locked on the brainpattern. The regulations for a teleport are:
- 1 teleport, needs to be recharged by Sir Blackwolf
- 1 person (IPD member) plus 50lbs/rank on equipment (not living materia)
- blocked teleport still uses up the charge.
- Interplanar teleport estimated success to 75%

Imperial Defender Liveship Paragon

The Liveship is a three masted rigger some 300ft long. He has 5 spars on two of the three masts to carry a variety of canvas sail and a bowsprit to carry a small jib. There is a craws nest (look-out)  at the top of the centre mast. On the bow of the boat (front for you land lubbers) there is a carved wooden figurehead consisting of the head and torso of a man. The lower half of the body blends into the bow of the ship and is therefor unseen. Paragons hair is tousled and mid length which he wears tied at the nape of his neck. His facial features are chiselled and sharp, although some do call him handsome. His wooden body carries hints of colour a representation of the colour of sun-tanned skin and golden hair. His eyes…. possibly blue, dare you get close enough to find out?
To the stern (back) of the ship are the wheel and the deckhouse, which houses the quarters for the Captain and first mate. The rest of the living quarters are below deck. These consist of crew sleeping areas for some 50 sailors, a galley (kitchen) a wardroom or officers mess for the senior staff and guests and a map room. Currently the rest of the ship has been given over for cargo space although renovations can be made at any time should a need arise.
A Liveship is just as the word states. Paragon is a sentient life form. He has the ability to find the best currents, trim his planks and manoeuvre his sails to make the best speed. He communicates only with a chosen few in great detail although he has been known to pass pleasantries and gamble with the hired crew!
Paragons past remains somewhat of a mystery. He was found rotting in a harbour by Sionell during her travels and brought back to the Tavern Realm. For now he works hand in hand with her. But as I have said, he is a sentient being with a mind of his own.
