 Dear Todd,
      Here is a story you can put up if you like - maybe the band will remember? - huh, though I very much doubt it. ; Listening again to them tonight since ages, I thought I'd regale you with this story (as I think I had promised a while back, never mind).
    Somehow I found myself along the Northern Line to Camden - not straightforward as you may know - there is a fork in the line which makes it dead easy to go wrong.
     Eventually we end up at Dingwalls.  No queue - hehehe!  But the place ended up heaving, which I suppose is not too hard as it was a dive (read small) then.  Close Lobsters were their usual brilliant 'selves.  I think I shouted, "Pimps!" and was told to "F*ck off" unceremoniously.  Ho Hum.  Thing is I have a few confessions to make!
                    1. What a fantastic gig, and although it sort of makes me cringe now, I got up on stage with them and danced for a couple of songs, before being ever so politely asked to get off stage by some chi/ump (read:skinny bloke in a Cramps T-Shirt).
                    2. After this I went to the bar and found £20 - seriously!!  Draw back?  Red Stripe about £2 - yes even then!!  And there were four of us.  Me and my big mouth...
                    3. A couple of nights later I went to see James (yes that crap band - not my fault...oh yes, and it was at the Dominion Theatre (theatreland) - not my cup of tea 'dahling'), and some bloke said to me 'Oi - weren't you that *#~***/*n*/****at/+ (insert your own word/s) dancing on stage at the Close Lobsters gig the other night?  AHH - fame at last!
     What a NIGHT!
