On February
9, 2001, a totally great Beatles parody called "Meet the Beat Alls" was on
the Cartoon Network's show, The Power Puff Girls.
The basic
story of "Meet the Beat Alls" is that the four "bad guys" who are always out
to try to get the Power Puff girls, join together to make a super powerful
villain force...The Beat Alls. In the end, due to Mojo Jojo's
love for Moko Jono (which was all a set up from the PPG) the Beat Alls break
up, and the Power Puff Girls once again save Townsville.

Beatles References in this episode (not songs)
When the Beat Alls first were formed the red devil looking guy (Him) said "we will be known as the Silver Beat Alls." Mojo Jojo (who was the John character) said "No, too fancy- we should be known simply as the Beat Alls."
The covers of "Meet The Beatles" "Please please me" "Hard Day's Night" and "Abbey Road" albums are reenacted
The Beat Alls were also known as "The Bad 4"
Fuzzy was referred to as "the shy one"
When the Beat Alls took over, that was the beginning of "The Brutish Invasion"
The Beat Alls take over a REAL BEATLES concert (with the cartoon Beatles from the 60's Saturday morning show performing....actually getting beat up) and do a take of a famous John Lennon quote. "Would the people in the cheap seats please leave and the rest of you hand over your jewelry."
The head of the Townsville Police, Sgt. Pepper, looks just like Old Fred from the Yellow Submarine movie.
The Reporter, named after two of the 5th Beatles, Staurt Best is dressed and sounds just like the Interviewer from the Rutles movie <alright..another Rutles reference. Maybe Starshyne's prefab Rutles reference page is on the way...>
Mojo Jojo climbs up a ladder and looks through a magnifying glass that is hanging from the ceiling. It says "This is a stick up."
Moko Jono is dressed exactly the same as Yoko was on her wedding day, and she surprisingly sings exactly like Yoko does.
Mojo Jojo and Moko Jono hold a "Bed In" in the middle of the busy street. They also scream loudly in the streets (very similar to John and Yoko's primal scream theopy) During this sequence the Yellow Submarine Beatles can be seen.
The three remaining Beat Alls are on the rooftop throwing things. Him says "I'd like to say thank you on behalf of the group and I hope we pass the audition"
And lastly...the
best of the Beatles references comes towards the end. Moko Jono is really
a monkey from the Townsville Zoo named Michelle (pronounced Meee-shell).
Jude (or Judy) quotes a wonderful misunderstood Beatles lyric from the song
"Michelle" which is: "Someday monkey won't play piano song.
Play piano song"
This was
one of the best Beatles reference shows I have seen! A+
