This is a close view of the south-east corner of the compound. You can clearly see the double fencing with the razor wire tops pointing inward- which is meant to keep people IN rather than to keep them out. The double fence corridor encircles the entire comound & likely there will be roving guards in the corridor as well as the manned towers. Around the entire area in the forrested woods located along the natural ridges overlooking this area, are makeshift 'hasty fighting positions'. Though there are no true dug-in bunkers (yet...) for soldiers guarding the perimeter, it is obvious that it will be part of the 'ops' here to employ such a force to keep those 'unauthorized' from getting too close...or escaping... Just to the south along the perimeter trail going to Howe Road, is a small clearing & a junction of various access trails that would be an ideal location for a supporting unit to set up a camp in order to conduct a 'field exercise'. |
