| Stealth Marine Warranty (Stealth) Customer warranty for Stealth catamarans Purpose of warranty To provide customers with confidence that they have purchased a quality product that will withstand the rigours of normal off the beach sailing and club racing. In order to protect all parties certain conditions are imposed on the warranty, however be assured that this is a genuine warranty and our intention is to back up the quality of our products with the the after sales care they deserve. Warranty The warranty is divided into two parts: Part 1 the full warranty period The full warranty period covers the first year from the date the customer takes possesion of the boat for the first time. During this period Stealth Marine Ltd warrants that it will at its own option, repair, replace or adjust free of charge any part that Stealth Marine Ltd finds defective in materials or workmanship when used within the conditions of this warranty. Part 2 the pro-rata warranty period This part of the warranty covers the second and third years from the date the customer takes possession of the boat for the first time. During this period Stealth Marine Ltd warrants that it will at its own option, repair, replace or adjust any hull that Stealth Marine Ltd finds defective in workmanship or materials, when used within the conditions of this warranty, at commercial rates less, 66% in the second year, and 33% in the third year. Conditions The warranty is provided subject to the following conditions The defect is not as a consequence of the customer's failure to properly maintain, or to use the boat in accordance with good practise. The boat must be used within the operating limitations specified within this warranty The boat must be delivered at the customer's expense to Stealth Marine Ltd or its nomiinated representative for the warranted work to be carried out as soon as possible after the defect becomes apparant This warranty does not apply to any defect in, or which is attributable to or which arises from the use of any modification made to the boat. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from: the use of beach rollers, trailers, friction on the hulls, beachings, collisions or failure to ventilate the hulls. Works carried out under this warranty must carried by Stealth Marine Ltd or their nominated representative at their premises, and only after authorisation by Stealth Marine Ltd Part 2 of this warranty is non-assignable. This warranty is subject to the exclusions, operating conditions and responsibilities contained within the warranty document. |
