i was born in germany because my dad was there in the army. i went back to visit the country in 1987 and it's too bad i didn't have my digital camera. i'd love to return someday.
i have many houseplants and i get a great deal of satisfaction from them... let's see, i've got a few pots of ivy, an aloe plant, a ficus tree, a couple of african violets, a few ferns, pothos & philodendron, snake plant, a small juniper bonsai, a ming aralia, a buddhist pine and lots of spider plants. plus a few 'mystery plants'.
i am very keen on camping- i like to drive my jeep up a fire road and stay for days and days. i usually camp in the catskill mountains, with plenty of deer and bear and snakes to keep me company. i compulsively buy camping gear, and currently i have like 5 tents (varying sizes). sadly, i have not been able to go out as often as i'd like the last couple of years- working nights and weekends is no fun.
