on february 21 the weather here in new york state was a freakishly warm 57 degrees f. one of my flatmates and i drove out to my dad's farm- one edge of the property is the wappingers creek, and there is a 'greenway' trail that runs for about a mile upstream. we had a nice little walk, and saw lots of neat stuff.
