This is the hotel Michael & I stayed at for 4 days, 3 nights. We were very impressed with everything it had to offer.
**I have recently been contacted by the Director of Marketing for the new W New Orleans Hotel, formerly Hotel de la Poste, asking me to take this page off my website. So, I am posting here that Hotel de la Poste DOES NOT exist anymore. I'm sure the new hotel is just as nice, but I am not going to take my page down since this is a personal page about my trip to the city many years ago in 1998!

This was our room. They were all out of the King Size Bedrooms so we opted for the 2 double beds.

Here is looking out our window to the left. As you descend the stairs to the platform, you go down another set of stairs that faces the fountain that you see below.

This is the view looking straight out our window. As you walk past the fountain, into the bushes, you enter the pool area that you see below.

Here is the heated pool with the banana tree hanging overhead.
