Legions Unleashed

New Fantasy Warfare Game Coming Soon

15mm Army Scale and 25mm Company Scale Engagements

GAME INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the world Legions Unleashed, this has been a game long in development over the years. I designed the game 20 plus years ago to provide the ability for my fellow RPG players to fight grand battles with their characters as the generals or company commanders.

We would throw dice into the night and watch our armies sway back and forth trying to gain the advantage in battle.

Now command your forces in combat, you as the commander, might be in charge of a force of Men, Elves, Dwarves, Trolls, Undead or even Orcs. There is no limit to the type or size of battle you can play with Legions Unleashed.

These rules are designed to be played with any type or size of miniature on any type of terrain you can think of and design. The most popular scales are the 15mm and 25mm miniatures. But don’t forget 6mm are good for massive military maneuvers.

The 15mm scale miniatures give the true feeling of a grandiose battle, the seesaw effect as units maneuver on the battlefield.

The 25mm scale miniatures are great for a company engagement, were you feel as if you’re right there in the action. Can you hear the clash of steel on steel and the valor cries!

Let’s not forget the extra rules for magic, siege machines and flying creatures, which add that little extra spice to the game.

These Black Raven Foundry miniatures are perfect for your 15mm Fantasy combat games.

Battle Commander Thourious Stoutshield stood on the hill top surveying the coming battle with pent up energy. Many days were spent maneuvering the Orcish army into position of his liking, the hills and narrows of the Razors edge mountains.

The hills were lined with dwarven crossbowmen, with heavy ballista in support. Their long range weapons were to decimate the Orcish ranks long before they reach the Hammersmith’s ranks dug into the hills below.

He smiled at the way his Dwarven cavalry had repeatedly ambushed and flanked the orc army in their constant maneuvers, to lead them to his chosen position. Oh they were not done yet! Not by a long shot, hidden out of sight up in the hills waiting for the sound of the horn to hit the Orcish army’s rear.

Best of all was his elite Rune Guards, placed in the center right below his high position on the hill top. They were armed with rune blade and armor; they are the toughest and strongest of the kingdom. Hand picked elites of the elites and tested in constant training and battle, they are an unwavering, unstoppable force of nature, a juggernaut of steel and sinew.

Horns started to sound in the valley below; the Orcish army was on the move, in a massive formation with little rhyme or reason. Orcish bowmen in front, supported by war troll’s to cause terror and holes in the dwarven front ranks. What little those troll’s will do them, with the creak and clack of gears on the ballista’s being pulled into firing position.

The Commander leaned forward and patted his trusty ram stead. Yes, everything was going as planned as he turned to his aid and said. “Sound the horns Captain Locke, the battle has commenced” with a grim determination in his eye.
