FOR YOU TO DECIDE

I am always here for you,
And I know what you need to do,
Deaf ears won't hear what I have to say,
So I will pray and patiently wait.

I lived through what you are living now,
Waited for change in her, I waited somehow,
Finally when my energy was spent,
life passed me by, the years came and went.

When I think that I could have been with you,
While it was misery I was trudging through,
It gave me a life of experience,
So now it all makes perfect sense.

If I tell you what you need to do,
I know we will be quickly through,
So for now I will let you live and decide,
what it is that you want in your life.

My motives although good are selfish,
Honest to say while sad but true,
And your life decisions I am giving advice,
From me, is not wise for you.

However I hope you will clearly see,
That you can have a life joyous and free,
If you leave him that hurts you so,
Do you want the good life fast or slow ?

I know your pain,
I lived your life,
And for me the one who hurt me,
