I THANK MY FATHER
Stirring emotions,
Anger deep within,
Do not haunt me anymore,
With your wretched sin.
Cast you out,
Not letting you hurt anymore,
You have worn me out,
I am not your whore.
I let you habitate,
My tarnished soul for a while,
I gave you strength,
I lost my smile.
How did you gain,
Control over me,
I may never figure out,
I may never see.
But I will not pay,
With my life anymore,
As I cast you out,
God is at my door.
I ask him to enter,
I ask for his will,
Never to see you again,
I have had my fill.
