As PO Tiner, my duty is to make your transition to our show as easy as possible.  Here are some of the frequently used terms that are used on JAG.  If you have more to add, feel free to email me.

JAG - Judge Advocate General corps CAG - Slang for Commander Air Group CO - Commanding Officer G's - Measure of gravity. OPS - Operations Center RIO - Radar Intercept Officer (the backseated officer in a two seat F-14) SecNav - Secretary of the Navy Semper Fi - Short for Semper Fidelis or Always Faithful. Known as the Marine Corps motto Skipper - Captain of the ship Trap - To catch the hook on board a carrier while landing Watch your six - Watch your back XO - Executive Officer (second in command) ZULU - Military time based on Greenwich Mean time
